About

I went to school for accounting, left (financial reasons) to work in banking. I was invited to work on the 2012 Presidential Campaign Cycle, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I do not recommend. Afterwards, I led corporate sales for a managed IT company working with c-suite executives to restructure and optimize their operations. In that time we grew, expanding state-wide by educating executives while I bought a house and finished my degree. I then worked in public accounting and operations management, got a real estate license1 and entered commercial real estate. I entered law school with an academic scholarship and the beginnings of COVID-19. Thankfully, COVID subsided, the scholarship did not; I graduated with capstone research on A.I. policy and education and you quite literally will not believe what happened next. More on that later, I contributed to rulings and judgments but the highlight so far was contributing, though modestly, to The Volokh Conspiracy.

What is “Negotiation by Other Means?”

My blog. It’s based on the oft misquoted “War is nothing but a continuation of politics with the admixture of other means.” It reads more jingoistic than planned because few people remember the original quote. I intended pragmatism, but both interpretations apply. In the blog I discuss law, policy, tech, and econ, for now. Check it out!

  1. My license is inactive, but I still get calls from various websites which should probably come down. ↩︎
